6 questions to alexander
At what age did you start Kitesurfing?
16! But I started sailing at age 9.
What is your career goal?
Going to the Olympics and winning a medal!
What do you like most about kitesurfing?
I like the feeling of freedom this sport provides you! To use the power of the wind and being super fast on the water. I also love the big jumps.
Do you have any other hobbies? How do you spend your free time?
I also love windfoiling and paragliding! When I have free time I try to spend it in the mountains to fly and improve my skills. It is like a meditation to me, but with a lot of adrenaline. It also helps me to switch off.
Best memories from kitesurfing?
I have a lot of really nice memories of kitesurfing: my trips, and the podiums. The first time I had the feeling of foiling over the water. But also all the time spent with amazing people that I met on my kitesurfing trips or competitions.
Best place in the world to kitesurf?
It's pretty difficult to say! There are a lot of awesome places where I have been for kitesurfing. All are different but also awesome. My home spot in Hyères is probably the best for Kite foiling.
